I know, I know. Infighting between Democrats is a dangerous thing. It is the curse of thinking peoples to lack the ability to mindlessly rally behind a single word, concept, or party. It is largely why we have a hard time selling our message.
But ta hell with Ed Kilgore.
UPDATE: Thanks to pursewarden for pointing out my dyslexic DNC, DLC typo, and I should've pointed out that the link only goes to the show's page. The audio won't be up until tomorrow.
Listening to NPR today who do I hear but the venerable mr. Kos himself in and all to brief point-counter point on
To The Point. After Markos explained to the host what the "netroots" were, Ed Kilgore chimed in and exposed what they really think.
He said he agreed with Markos on what the netroots are (which is good, 'cause didn't we, um, make them up??), but, he said - he disagreed with the role of the netroots .
What should we be doing says mr. Washington insider? Mr. Policy director of the DLC who's doing such a BANG UP job making sure we RUN THE COUNTRY? Our job is fundraising.
Fundraising. God forbid we should stir up this rancid pot of a party and expose the bad apples. You want to keep the status quo Mr. Kilgore? Look how far it's gotten you.

I apologize for spelling errors, etc. This was written in haste.
